I bumped into the headteacher of Southdown Infants School outside my front door last night. She’s agreed to send a flyer home with every child, which is great!

1000 A6 flyers ordered last night – should arrive in about a week. I’m really hoping we get a good number of volunteers to help distribute them!

My daughter and I spent some time this afternoon visiting the houses that front onto the field and giving out flyers. The response was overwhelming positive, which was really encouraging!

At last, after a few weeks of umm-ing and ahh-ing, the Big Lunch at Roundhill is Go!

We’ve been in touch with the local councillor, who has contacted the Parks department, and the first batch of flyers have been printed. We’ve even got a web site!

Roll on the 19th July – let’s hope the sun shines!!
